Milady’s Career Institute supports the principles of accreditation for schools in post-secondary education. We promote standards of education in cosmetology and work to advance and improve the standards of service to the public in the field of cosmetology. We are available to assist schools in their effort to maintain prescribed standards, assure quality programs for students, and to cooperate with other organizations representing cosmetology to further improve the best interests of education in cosmetology.

In our effort to assist schools and contribute to the improvement of the cosmetology industry as a whole, Milady’s Career Institute has incorporated comprehensive consulting services for schools in the areas of:

ACCREDITATION COMPLIANCE

• Assisting schools with the process and development of the Institutional Self-Study
  
• Developing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with the standards and criteria established by various accrediting agencies
  
• Preparation for on-site evaluations by accrediting agencies
  
• Being present for consultation during on-site evaluations
  
• Assisting schools with a response document should limitations occur during a visit
  
• Assisting schools with the preparation of required annual reports
  

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

• Ensuring compliance with state-prescribed curriculum guidelines
  
• Developing detailed program schedules for teaching Training school instructors in the use of classroom technology products
  
• Training school instructors in the use of Milady’s wide array of educational support materials, including our Course Management Guides and technology products
  

SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

• Training personnel in effective admissions, recruiting techniques and procedures
  
• Developing comprehensive Operating Procedures supported for school operations, personnel, admissions, administration, education, and more
  
• Defining job duties and position descriptions for all applicable positions
