Happy National Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Today we celebrate being kind to one another. This doesn’t take a lot of planning, simply an awareness on everyone’s part to focus on being nice to others. The benefits of sharing joy with others doesn’t only benefit the person receiving it, it creates joy in the one spreading it too.
“Dilbert” cartoonist Scott Adams said, “Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”

Keryl Reid-Rabideau shared this idea with us on our Milady Instructor Facebook Group. She provides paper, stickers, markers, etc. so students can write a Things I Like about You note to another student.
National Random Acts of Kindness Day doesn’t have to be limited to one day each year. I was looking through past blogs we have written, and here a couple of ideas how to keep showing kindness year-round.
I’ll leave you with this thought from Mr. Rogers, “There are three ways to ultimate success. The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind.”
In the words of Ellen DeGeneres, go out and “be kind to one another.”
