There is no doubt that Dr. Martin Luther King was one of the most influential people in history. Yes, we know MLK had a dream that one day many dreams would be accomplished and come to fruition. But he also proclaimed, “I have a dream today!”
It is the focus of TODAY that will begin the hope for tomorrow. We all should strive to honor yesterday – like embracing MLK Day and everything he stood for – and not get caught up in the future that can seem so vast at times.
During a year of continued racial divide in our country, how can we all continually dig deeper to understand and honor each other? What can we do TODAY for the future of our industry?
A few months ago, Milady launched four new videos focused on successful consultations and haircutting of textured, curly, and coily hair. This valuable content includes videos and other resources from Milady and Stylez and is available now in MindTap for Cosmetology or you can request access by completing the form below.
As your partner in beauty education, Milady seeks to offer varied experiences and viewpoints on current trends and styles. These videos show professional artists working with actual clients, providing enhanced educational opportunities for curly hair styling.
These instructional videos feature independent artists sharing their own techniques. These techniques are not necessarily a reflection of Milady’s teaching methods. Always refer to state board requirements when preparing your learners for the licensing exam. We suggest previewing the videos prior to sharing them with your students, so you can be prepared for any questions students may ask.
