Looking for a fun way to help students get familiar with all the amazing features of MindTap? Why not create a MindTap Scavenger hunt to help your students become more comfortable with navigating through MindTap and to allow them to learn all of the features?
Start by having a MindTap orientation where you teach students how to log in and join the right classroom. Then create a list of 20 different MindTap features you want them to find such as “Flash Cards for Chapter 30” or “MiladyPro Link”. You might even include actions you want them to take. For example, “Watch the ‘Why Study Infection Control’ Video” or “Take the ‘Self-Interests Test’ in Chapter 2”.
Give students a set time to explore MindTap and find the features. It might be helpful to put the students in groups of 2 or 3 and let them do it as a group activity. Each can work on their own device, but they can work together and discuss how to find things. The goal is to get the student comfortable with navigating through MindTap and know how to quickly find various features. The best way to learn is to get hands on and do it.
